On a day-to-day basis, tech support can expect to participate in the following activities:

​

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interact with business customers (mid-sized tax preparation and accounting firms) to provide premium service to these high-value customers via phone, assisting with tech support, tax support, and general e-filing support questions (knowledge of tax concepts a plus)

• Provide quality customer service while demonstrating the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve inquiries related to software installation, reinstallation, entry, and other software support matters

• Provide quality customer service while demonstrating the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve inquiries related to software installation, reinstallation, entry, calculation, and other software support matters

• Provide caring, empathetic, and white-glove customer interactions that positively represent their brand

• Ability to align and communicate with the customer effectively

• Tenacity to understand the customer’s business needs and provide the appropriate recommendation

• Ability to quickly build rapport with customers

• Patience and understanding to diffuse tough customer situations

• Ability to search quickly in Intuit’s knowledge base as well as public search tools (Google.com, etc.)

 

 

Requirements and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Pay Range

$14.00 Hourly

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, AK provides a variety of benefits to employees (varies depending on contractors) including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. Individuals placed in the position as a contractor, are still eligible for incentives and a small range of benefits.
